Dinner - Kingston Heath Golf Club - Speaker: Sandra Mackenzie
The first event for 2010 will be a dinner to mark the Women's Australian OpenThe speaker will be Sandra Mackenzie, an international touring professional golfer for 8 years in the 1980's and since 1990 a golf commentator. Sandra is currently the teaching professional at Yarra Yarra Golf Club.
The 2010 Women's Australian Open is being held at Commonwealth Golf Club from 11 to 14 March. The Society will be again hosting a display - including items of memorabilia relating to women's golf, many not seen previously.

At the AGM, Keith Wood AM was presented with his Life Membership certificate. This award was conferred on him at the AGM in 2008.
President Ian Rennick reported that Janet Hibbins had retired as Secretary and paid tribute to her involvement in the administration of the Society. Ian welcomed Janet as a Committee member, along with Paul Rak and Paul Burgess as Secretary. Retiring Committee member, Michael Clayton was also thanked for his contribution over a number of years.
In his report for the year, President Ian Rennick thanked Members for their support of functions over the year, and the Clubs who had made their facilities available.
